The Pediatrics Outpatient Department is proud to be one of the leading specialties of the Hong Ngoc General Hospital System. With seven dedicated facilities, we provide comprehensive medical care for children from newborns to 16 years of age, offering diagnosis and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, nutritional counseling, allergies, musculoskeletal conditions, and pediatric urological disorders.
Our department brings together a team of highly qualified and compassionate pediatricians who adhere to World Health Organization (WHO)–standard treatment protocols. We are committed to minimizing unnecessary medication use, shortening treatment duration, and reducing the risk of recurrence.

Functions and responsibilities

  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions in children (0–16 years):
    - Respiratory diseases: bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, rhinitis, etc.
    - Infectious diseases: influenza A, influenza B, dengue fever, hand-foot-mouth disease, etc.
    - Gastrointestinal disorders: digestive dysfunction, constipation, diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.
    - Musculoskeletal disorders: juvenile idiopathic arthritis, polymyositis, hip arthritis, etc.
    - Dermatological conditions: atopic dermatitis, urticaria, heat rash, scabies, diaper rash, skin abscesses, etc.
    - Pediatric urology: urinary tract infections, acute cystitis, post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis, etc.
    - Other conditions: functional gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, precocious puberty, malnutrition, etc.
