Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology Department

Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology Department

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology brings together a team of highly qualified and experienced physicians and technicians who continuously advance their expertise and develop new techniques to improve the quality of diagnostic imaging. The department works in close collaboration with clinical specialties to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

At the same time, the department applies minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of musculoskeletal, vascular, and oncological conditions, performed under the guidance of advanced imaging modalities such as ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and digital subtraction angiography (DSA).

Functions and responsibilities

  • Diagnostic imaging: performing techniques such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, bone densitometry, and biopsy to enable early detection of structural lesions, tumors, and fractures, thereby determining the extent of damage and providing accurate diagnosis of underlying conditions.
  • Multidisciplinary case consultation: conducting consultations within the department, across departments, and hospital-wide to develop optimal treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.
  • Training and Research: actively engaged in medical education and scientific research, with collaborative programs and partnerships with institutes, medical universities, schools of pharmacy, and national hospitals. The department also participates in scientific conferences and symposia held at the hospital as well as in professional congresses nationwide.
